Ronald Araujo is available to leave Barcelona with a €65m release clause, but is also subject to a time limit.

Spanish outlet reported on Monday that Ronald Araujo’s €65 million release clause will only be effective in the first 10 days of the summer window.

However, Araujo’s €65m release clause will only become effective in the first 10 days of the summer transfer window.
‘We never wanted to sell him and in the end the decision lies with the player. We want players who want to succeed at the club, we want players who want to succeed at Barça,’ explained Deco, the Azulgrana’s sporting director.
But Deco has admit that if Araujo is unhappy at the club he will be allow to leave, although his €65m release clause will be time-limit.
In essence, Barcelona have left the door open for Araujo to leave if he wishes to do in the summer, but any clubs interested would have to act swiftly as the release clause would be valid only for a short period.
It has also been suggest that the release clause figure is much higher, in the range of €300 million, for the big clubs of Europe such as Manchester City, PSG, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United, among others.
